Tuition for the 2011-2012 School Year

Pre-K4 through 8th grade

Parishioner Tuition Rates: Must Attend Our Lady of Angels Parish on a regular basis and contribute to collection

  • One Child: $345 per month = $3,450 per year
  • Two Children: $560 per month = $5,600 per year
  • Three Children: $650 per month = $6,500 per year

Non-Parishioner Tuition Rates:

  • One Child: $355 per month = $3,550 per year
  • Two Children: $570 per month = $5,700 per year
  • Three Children: $660 per month = $6,600 per year

For a 5% reduction in tuition, please pay full year's tuition before July 1st

Fees

Application Fee: $35 per student applying to enter OLA for the first time
*Application Fee is due at time of registration. It may be paid in cash, check, or money order made payable to Our Lady of Angels School

Re-Registration Fee: $35 per family for those in grade pre-k through 7th grade who are presently in the school and who will be returning for the following year.

General Fee: This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. The fee covers scholastic fee, ITBS testing, Art and Computer Supplies, Student Accident Insurance, workbooks, and New York State testing.

Application Policy

Parents who wish to apply to OLA may come to the school any morning between 9:15 AM - 11:15 AM. If this is not a convenient time, please call the office for an appointment at 718-549-3503. For more information, please fill out the information request form above, and you will be contacted by a school representative in 2 to 3 days. Please let us know if you are interested in scholarship opportunities.

In order to register, all potential students will need the following:

  • Birth Certificate or Passport
  • Up-to-date Immunization Record
  • Social Security Card
  • List of any special medical needs
  • Most Recent Report Card and standardized test results (for grades 2-8)
  • Parishioner Envelope Number (if applicable)
  • Baptismal Certificate (if applicable)
  • Penance / First Communion Dates (if applicable)

The application will be considered complete when all of the above items have been received by the school.
**Pre-K and Kindergarten applicants will be required to interview with the Prinicipal before being accepted to school.
**1st thru 8th grade applicants will be required to take a placement test before being accepted to the school.

Following the test, the parents will be notified in writing with regard to the child's acceptance to the school. They will also receive a medical form (due by September 1st), tuition form, and school uniform information. The General Fee must be paid within two weeks of the letter of acceptance by check or money order. The General Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Acceptance will be given based on the completed application, interview/test results, and available space.

School Policy

Our Lady of Angels School is a Catholic School and is an integral part of the parish structure. Our primary goal is to create and provide an atmosphere conducive to the development of the spiritual, cognitive, emotional, aesthetic, physical and social development of each child.

Our Lady of Angels School accepts children of all religious faiths and backgrounds. Archdiocesan policy urges both evangelical and service goals to the wider-than Catholic community. All students will be REQUIRED to take all religion courses and programs and to attend religious services. Non-Catholic students will neither be prepared for nor receive the sacraments of the Church.
